Dairy Equipment 
Many years ago Ederer’s added a
route program to our dairy division. Like our competition, our route program consisted of delivering the product our customers
needed. This “stop-drop-and run” program worked for several years, that is,
until we rethought the program and realized that there were several areas that we could
improve on.
Our goal, as a growing business, is to keep our customers happy. So as an added benefit to
our route customers we offer dozens of maintenance checks and balances, free of charge, to
keep your system running smoothly. We start with the vacuum pump, changing the oil, taking
the cfm readings, and flushing the pumps (lobe). The vacuum regulator is next. The
regulator is thoroughly cleaned and any necessary repairs are made. These are the first of
up to 20 checks that are completed while we take your chemical and supply order.
From experience we know that these “checks” really benefit our customers.
Downtime costs money. Regular basic maintenance can significantly reduce downtime and
costly repairs. Thereby keeping money in your pocket.
Ederer Dairy Supply offers quality products from DeLaval, West Agro, Universal, Safeway, and 3M.
Chemicals and dips are available in 1-gallon to 275-gallon totes. We also offer a full
line of complementing products including inflations, filters, animal health, towels, and
much more. We can even put those new inflations on for you.
We revamped our route program again in 2002. The day before the delivery truck comes, our
route salesmen will visit and write up a delivery order. This “next day
delivery” program allows our customers to add special items to their
 route order that are not usually on the
truck. Do you a need light bulb for your takeoff? Maybe, you need a lid gasket for a Zero
cooler? No problem, tell the route salesman, and it will be delivered the next day.
Our route staff is not just salesmen; they are dairy technicians that can help you
diagnostically. They are trained to complete the National Mastitis Council test, or a
milking analysis? Having cell count problems? Our route technicians are very good
resources for you. After all, our people have to fully understand your system, how it
works, and how your cows use it, to sell you product.
Our success as a business is tied very closely to your success as a dairyman. To make the
most out of that relationship we must continually adjust to meet the ever- changing needs
